Jill Webber was born and raised in Mexico, Missouri. She works mainly in water mixable oils, and more recently, has been experimenting with watercolors. Jill’s work mostly revolves around her observations and plein air studies in nature. Her art interest began at a pre-school age with her observations and interest in the unlimited beauty found in nature. Since retiring, Jill is continuing her journey evolving and constantly learning as an artist. She has opened a studio, given private lessons, takes workshops, taught workshops, participates in exhibitions, plein air events, continues to take a figure drawing class and is a member of and participates in the Oklahoma Pastel Society. She also shared her experiences, contacts and love for art by serving as an officer and founding member on the Advisory Board of the Art Advocates for the OSU Museum of Art since 2016. The Art Advocates were instrumental in forming an outreach art education partnership within the area’s schools and within the community through yearly fundraisers and events for the arts.

Brenda Whicker and her husband live on a corn/soybean farm in Indiana with their horses, chickens. cats and dogs. She often travels to Texas and Utah to visit family. Her artistic training began in high school with a major in art, and art classes while in college. In the past several years she has continued artist training with various accomplished artists.
