One of my greatest joys in life was to learn to grow flowers from my mother and grandmother. They passed on their passion of beautiful flower gardens. Flowers bring such beauty in life with their colors and joy and I want to portray this in my paintings. These flowers were excellent models clipped from my favorite David Austin Roses bushes in the rose garden at my home. Hope you see the love and joy they convey. The name of this painting is called After Glow because it seems to just glow with happiness.
