This piece is a plein air painting. I set up along the roadside and eventually the young homeowner emerged to chat. He told me his grandfather had bought this 1964 Ford Falcon and later sold it to a man who created a custom shell for it. Years later, the grandson bought it back, hoping to restore it. A memorable day of painting!

She also began painting en plein air, adding a new source of excitement to her work. Over the past ten years she has been juried into many prestigious group shows, often alongside nationally recognized painters, and has won a variety of awards.
