My desire for this pastel painting was for it to be a summertime piece, have a

peaceful and nostalgic “feel” to it and, hopefully, bring back fond memories of times well spent. I wanted it to be timeless in nature...an experience that could have been one shared with a child, grandchild or even a memory from the viewer’s own younger life. Whatever the case, I hope this painting speaks to happy times, fond memories and Halcyon Days .
