LINDA EPPINGER JOHNSON DAY LILY
I grew up on the front range of the Rocky Mountains and now enjoy cliffs and sagebrush as my front door view. As the years went by, my gardens grew – especially my display of daylilies by the ponds. The morning light was casting vibrant lights and shadows on the glorious hues of the Day Lily. Each flower lasts only one day so I took many photos, enjoying the experience. I was excited to paint! I use transparent and opaque watercolors as my medium. I love to paint multiple layers for texture against the softness of an airbrush. The diverse countryside where I reside, and my gardens, inspire me to appreciate and paint or sculpt the flora and fauna of Wyoming.
