Playing under the sky, surrounded by grasses, trees and little critters was my favorite thing as a child. Being outside still connects me to the natural world and settles my mind. Here I observe nature surrounding me. It may be a tiny branch in dappled sunlight, a bird soaring, or ripples in a stream. Capturing these moments in oil paints keeps me aware of the wonder of life.
