After high school commercial art was the only contact she had with art. She also worked as a technical illustrator and at advertising agencies. Then she began studying at workshops in Montana with the greats of the wildlife art world such as Terry Isaac, Carl Brenders and Robert Bateman and others finally realizing her dream. Carolyn’s oil paintings were licensed for many years and gained her many honors. She paints wildlife, landscapes, portraits. Her art continues to improve and evolve.
