I was first drawn to this jar on display at Woolaroc Museum in Bartlesville Oklahoma. The way the light struck it from above made it glow, and I knew I just had to recreate it in paint.

She spent the past three decades painting people, places and objects that have a quiet beauty, perhaps seemingly simple, and often overlooked until painted.
