This old fence-line dancing through the snow somewhere in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana caught my eye and appealed to my sense of pattern and rhythm that I enjoy in a composition. The play of light, shadow and color on the old slats held my interest. Sometimes a wintry day can be a great opportunity to observe the snowy simplicity and entropy in our environment. Beauty surrounds us!
