I love painting early morning scenes, & this one is a Hill Country scene with running water flowing through it. I also love watching horses early in the morning so I put one of my son’s mares with her colt into the scene. To me this is a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil scene, and I hope the viewer will enjoy it as well.

Continuing that tradition through my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren has been instrumental in my art. My sensitive sense of color along with my love of subjects enables me to capture in my paintings the passion I have for my subjects while creating a mood that the viewers share. A previous Jones Award, Best of Show, and Popular Choice Award, and recently The Silver Award in Acrylics winner at the Bosque Art Classic.
