A crab apple tree sits outside our kitchen window. Early one sunny spring morning, while enjoying a cup of coffee, I glanced outside. Light danced across the buds and blossoms. A painting was right there in front of me waiting to happen.

After a career as an art teacher, in Colorado, Bolivia and Iran, her love of the out-of-doors became a second life as a plein air painter. Her travels through the west and beyond show themselves in her impressionistic paintings of light and color. Pam has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in art education. She regularly takes painting workshops.
