My inspiration for this painting is the beauty of America itself. I love painting bison, an iconic creature which I consider an important part of our country’s history. I also love capturing the beauty of our American Flag. In this pastel painting I have paired the two into what I hope will be a moving and memorable tribute to our nation past and present - American Icon .
