I love painting cows -- and the good news is you can find them just about anywhere just driving down any rural road. These big, lazy creatures hang out in the fields without a care in the world. Pretty sure most of us can appreciate that, so the inspiration for this work sparked when I saw them. In this piece, The Buddy System , I combined my love of bird art with these cows in the field. Cattle egrets are notorious for using all kinds of farm animals for their perches, so this just seemed like a natural fit.
