Desert Sky was inspired by a vista I photographed while driving from Santa Fe, New Mexico, traveling through the Four Corners area heading west to Utah. The rich colors, a grand sky and a lonely pinon tree are all hallmarks of the glorious Southwestern states. Alive and vibrant after an afternoon shower, the landscape offered a colorful palette of desert hues.
