Cape Split Wonders is one of the plein air paintings from my recent multi year rambling adventure across North America. We had gone to Cape Split in Nova Scotia for a hike but as soon as I saw the luscious colors and tangled forms of these ocean side summer blooms in the morning light I set up my easel.

For this trip I’ve been working primarily in plein air, a good challenge. My most recent honor was being included in Splash 23.
