SYRI HALL THE BOY SCOUT

26” x 16” x 16” — Bronze $11,900

My bronze entitled The Boy Scout portrays a young, prehistoric Sinagua boy, the chief’s son, who has just gone through a rights of passage ceremony with his tribe. He is wearing his finest regalia and is taking a much-needed break. After the rites he removes his beaded deerskin moccasins while he stands with his tall staff in hand in beautiful Oak Creek pretending to be the chief. His pet dog is jumping up to scare his Thick-Billed parrot...a bird once indigenous to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon.
