She is drawn to paint the golden light of the West, including the West Coast, the Sierras and our beautiful National Parks. Linda paints en plein air as well as her home studio. As a longtime horse woman Linda also loves to paint horses and wildlife. She works in pastels, oils, charcoal, graphite and scratchboard.

Barbara earned a BFA from Syracuse University followed by graduate study at the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore. She values her many years working as an illustrator and graphic designer as valuable contributions to her convoluted artistic journey. She considers her book, Secrets to Composition, one of her most significant achievements. She is a signature member of many national art organizations including Women Artists of the West.
