CINDY SORLEY-KEICHINGER SWALLOW DREAM

KATHY SOLIDAY HIGH NOON

The inspiration for the painting came from seeing the swallows on the reeds, and noting that the water behind them could either be sky or water. This is how I came to do the background and the title. Either way, the swallows were in their element.

10” x 20” — Oil $1,200

High Noon was inspired from a road trip we took on RT 66. This cactus was in front of an old gas station in Chandler, OK. We stopped the car so I could take numerous photos. I was so taken with the light and shadow playing on the leaves I knew I wanted to memorialize it in paint.

18” x 9” — Acrylic $3,094
