CAROL STROCK WASSON POND LIGHT

16” x 20” — Pastel $1,800

Pond Light was inspired by the interaction of light and water. It was a calm morning and the color of the light hitting the surface against the darkness of the background tree spoke to me as a focal point. I used various tools and solvent reduction techniques on the pastel to create the water reflections and vertical foreground grasses.

24” x 24” — Oil $2,600
