MARGARET DRAKE MR. REMINGTON’S COWBOY

17” x 15” x 6” — Bronze $4,200 Growing up in the northwestern corner of Colorado where ranch life was prevalent contributed to my special interest in horses and riding. Many years spent grooming, riding, and caring for horses imparted awareness of equine anatomy, and appreciation of the athletic human and animal form. With my work, I want people to smile and feel good when they see it. I want them to appreciate the detail, accuracy, and graceful motion of the represented subject.

MARGARET DRAKE • WAOW Signature • TX • www.margaretdrakestudio.com Originally from Northwestern Colorado ranching country, Margaret strives for accuracy as well as aesthetics when creating realistic figures of animals and humans; winning awards such as “Best of Show”, and “Director’s Choice’. Margaret does her own patinas, thus making each piece unique. Her pieces have been permanently acquired by the Museum of Western Art, the Pearce Museum of Fine Art, and the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
