KATHERINE IRISH IMPRESSION

18” x 24” — Pastel $1,800

Impression was inspired by a New Mexico sunset. The challenge was to capture the last moments of light play in that day. I wanted to portray the distance between myself - the observer, and the horizon line through the size and shapes of the clouds and color nuances. The gradation of colors in the sky – from gold to peach to green to blue - creates beauty in my view.
