MARY FRANKEL SIMPLE THINGS

There is a very high end chic furniture and furnishings store in Fort Worth, called “Simple Things.” I occasionally go there and do painting demonstrations for clientele and the decorators. This day, I brought some apples from home, and collected items from around the store to do this still life under the beautiful natural lighting of the twenty-foot, North-facing windows.

Later, a job relocation brought Frankel to London where she was able to immerse herself in the rich environment of great art and architecture throught Europe, igniting the artist. within. Frankel has traveled the world, and creates paintings and drawings depicting the people and places she has so lovingly encountered. Frankel currently divides her time between Fort Worth, Texas and Estes Park, Colorado.
