BARBARA PARISH DESERT BEAUTY

VICKI PEDERSEN CONNECTION

I walk out in nature weekly with a camera and sketchbook in hand. I enjoy seeing the abundance of color and life. This is where I get excited about painting the landscape. I take pictures of my subjects and create a color scheme in my sketchbook. Back in my studio, I sketch a design on watercolor paper and start to paint.

18” x 18” — Oil $3,400

I have photographed and painted this beautiful Native American model several times. She is beautiful and exudes strength and calm - which carries over to her horse.

22” x 15” — Oil $2,100
