NORI THORNE FLOATING FOSSIL CREEK

9” x 12” — Pastel $2,000

The rutted washboard road that snakes through a mesquite-choked canyon mile after dusty mile leads finally to your reward — the cool tourmaline green waters of Fossil Creek — my happy spot. You can float and splash your way up the white travertine creek bed to secret pour-overs where little native trout and crawdads nibble your toes. The painting depicts bliss.
