Through my pastel drawings, I try to bring the viewer into a vintage world where nature comes to play. Each still life begins with an idea, old object, flora or fauna. Shadows and reflections are an important part of each composition. Artworks are completed using soft pastel pencils, sticks on sanded pastel mat paper.

Growing up in rural Oklahoma I spent my youth watching the birds, photographing and sketching them. I have a fascination with relics from the past, and my prop collection is ever growing. Now residing in Mississippi with my artist husband.
