CAROL HENDRIX • WAOW Associate • NV • www.carolbhendrix.com A Las Vegas, Nevada resident, Carol was born and raised in Texas where she developed a deep interest in horses and art. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education/Art, she began specializing in commissioned oil portraits of horses, other animals, florals and landscapes. She spent several years in the horse business working in the racing office, as well as, breeding, raising, and racing Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds which provided much of the background knowledge for her race paintings.
